I want to share some important information with you.
It is about the greatest scammers in the numismatic world: the Katz Auction house.
I want to show some screenshots of the admin part from the katzauction.com. Please check the pictures.

1., 2., 3., 4. - Everything starts from 5 EUR but most of the items have a hidden "Reserve Price". You can buy if you pay a high price.
5., 6., - Lot of items are just fake sells (Customer is "-"). When bids are under the hidden reserve prices the winner is one of their fake admin account.

1. • Prices are pushed up by fake admin accounts (showing one). Bids are placed little under the reserve price.
2. • Just showing some more fake sells. Nearly all of the expensive banknotes and Were not sold in the reality. They report it to sixbid numisbids etc. as sold items, but it is not true... They are manipulating the market.
3. • Personal page of one of the consignors. Everything has a reserve price and nearly nothing is sold.
     There are 100+ consignors. Lot of well known dealers. They are part of the illegal trade and the market manipulation.

This is normal on almost every auction, live or internet.
Honestly I never saw the auction where its items sale greatly under market price.
We call them,, white horse,, who raising the prices up.🙂
I recommend always stard biding close to end of the items auction and have your own personal limit..

Since the time when I started watching and buying on auctions I saw and heard many things about manipulation ,the salers always need profits.
So many items is finally not sold and auctions houses declared them like sold, its nothing new ...

Thanks for sharing. This is important. Hopefully more and more people will find out about these practices and be careful when buying numismatic material.

Katz auctions are scamers... up your limits, fake selling, fake coins... i Have experience with this auction house one and last... never more, Now i dont even look at their catalogs anymore doesnt matter what they sold.

Today the Katz Auction house and the consignors were reported to the Czech police and to the UOHS (Office of protection of competition).
